Welcome to River Birch Golf Club
At River Birch…
River Birch Golf Course, formally known as Paw Paw Country Club in Bamberg, South Carolina opened in 1981. The golf course was designed by one of South Carolina's best-known architects, Russell Breeden. The course has abundant lakes, woods, and large undulating greens. This challenging course plays 6666 from the championship tees. There are four sets of tees for golfers of different abilities.
The newest owners, Enhanced Golf Management Inc, have taken over the reins in December 2021. The name change to River Birch Golf Course will give the course a fresh new start.
